These core values empower our employees to do what is right, thereby ensuring we comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
While we believe our core values lay the foundation for our compliance program, we also continue to enhance our compliance program in other ways. Perrigo's Code of Conduct explains these core values and compliance expectations for all employees. While our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has ultimate responsibility for Perrigo's compliance practices, we have also spent the past several years building processes and defining responsibilities to consistently promote compliance at all levels of our global organization.
To assist our employees in meeting their compliance responsibilities and understanding available resources, we provide both online and in-person training. In addition, each year we ask all employees to read our Code of Conduct and certify that they understand how it applies to their daily work activities. We also ask our managers to certify each year that they understand and are in compliance with our Code and Corporate Policies.
