Stability and Formulations: 70 drugs studies for
stability in Paddock's oral compounding vehicles
The American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy has published a series of six studies involving Paddock Laboratories' compounding vehicles -- Ora-Plus®, Ora-Sweet® and Ora-Sweet® SF.
"(T)he purpose of these studies were to determine the compatibility and stability of drugs commonly prescribed for use in oral liquid dosage forms but not commercially available as such. Pharmacists need this information to make professional decisions about vehicle selection and the assignment of expiration dates."
